Introductory Towel Classes starting this week!

Our new instructor, Johanna Dalgleish, will be offering an introduction to Ron Fletcher's Towel Classes beginning March 12.  This four week series will run on Fridays from 9-10am, ending April 2.  Please see our Fee Structure for pricing or contact us for more information.
 
  
Workshops

Our winter workshop series continues on Saturday, March 13 with our Hip & Knee Workshop (this workshop was postponed from March 6).  There is still space available; p

We will also be hosting a variety of other workshops over the next several months.  Whether you are wanting to improve shoulder or back health, or to work on your breathing techniques, there are many great classes you should check out!


Weekly Hatha yoga classes

 

Michelle Schroeder, owner of Victoria Yoga, will be offering weekly classes at the studio until April 20!  The classes will run every Tuesday from 12-1pm.  Michelle has been teaching yoga classes in Victoria, Vancouver and Vancouver Island for almost 10 years since completing her yoga training in Thailand in 2000.  Yoga is a great compliment to Pilates work and can help with decreasing stress, improving posture, and increasing concentration and flexibility.

Shoulder & Core Classes   

We are offering a series for each class.  Right now there is not enough interest for the Shoulder Class to run, so please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to attend.  Please see our Fee Structure for pricing.
Core Class: Thursdays, 6-7pm
Shoulder Class: Thursdays, 7-8pm (dependent on interest)
 
 

Microcurrent Services available on Fridays & Sundays

 

Dr. Barb Dyble will be conducting Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) sessions at the studio.  FSM can be helpful with chronic illness and pain, injury or surgery, fractures, skin wounds or ulcers.  It is painless transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation that does not use needles. 
 
Dr. Dyble is the owner of Functional Currents for Health.  She has worked as a family physician in Victoria for 25 years and since training with the Institute of Functional Medicine in 2005 she has become an integrated medical practitioner.  Barb will be offering appointments at the studio on Fridays from 1-6pm and Sundays from 1-4pm.  Please contact her at (250) 896-8664 to book an appointment or email her for more information at info@functionalcurrents.com.
 

Bootcamp

We are pleased to offer Low Impact Bootcamp Classes!  The Bootcamp classes are instructed by Starr McMichael and Michelle Loveridge and run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9am to 10:15am.  Please see our Fee Schedule for pricing.  The current series runs from March 2nd to 27th.  Starting in April, we will be offering evening classes as well.  Please check with us for more details in mid-March!


Youth Pilates

We are pleased to be offering Youth Pilates Classes starting in February. The course will introduce Pilates to our youth (ages 7-9 and 10-12).   These classes are sure to be engaging, fun and a great introduction to Pilates. Class times:  Saturdays

11am – 12pm for 7-9 year olds 
12pm – 1pm for 10-12 year olds
