The Pilates Method
The first step to beginning your Pilates practice is to come in for an assessment. You will spend one hour with an Instructor, who will introduce you to the Pilates Method so you can learn about how the principles of Pilates apply to your unique body structure, body awareness, and fitness goals.
Clients typically then require an additional 4 hours of private one-on-one instruction to learn the fundamentals of Pilates, and have an individualized program created for them. Upon completing these sessions, you can begin in one, or more, of our small group classes. Classes are offered in both Equipment and Mat. Your Instructor will help you make the best choice between the two, or perhaps suggest a combination. Class sizes are limited because we believe students benefit from individual attention.
