Stop Living With Chronic Pain

The MELT Method® (MELT) is a self-treatment technique that helps people get out and stay out of chronic pain. With this technique, you can learn to actively partake in reducing your body’s connective tissue stress, restore whole-body efficiency, and lead a healthier, more active life.

MELT Events

MELT is a self-treatment technique, which means you do it at home under your own direction, for as little as 10 minutes a day. MELT events teach you the basics to set you on a path of managing your own pain. These events are normally offered in a two-part series of 1.5 hours each.

More About MELT

MELT was developed by manual therapist Sue Hitzmann as homework for her clients to empower them to actively partake in their healing regimen. This process became the inspiration that brought MELT and the unique method Sue calls Hands-off Bodywork™ to the masses. For more information visit the MELT website.

The workshops will be taught by Heather Cairns, one of our regular instructors who is certified in providing MELT courses. Here is her experience with MELT. I was led to MELT by my interest in chronic pain management, both for myself and for others. My own personal success with its techniques have been dramatic, and I am enthusiastic about sharing it. I recently completed the MELT Method® Hand and Foot training and will complete the Full Length Program of Melt in 2015.
